Couple’s Roast

This is yet another exciting idea for the pre-nuptial party (this can be tweaked if it is for a shower for the bride); shred paper into long bands and separate into two heaps.  Write on one of the situations containing feelings of the couple like "Ann is furious and Andrew is upset" "Ann is totally pleased.  Andrew is fed up" or "Ann is frightened. Andrew is thrilled." 

For the other heap, choose a different set of circumstances like "Andrew lets Ann know he will not be able to make it to the mall as he has plans to enjoy the game with the guys," "Andrew informs Ann he exchanged the coupe and got a minivan instead," else "Ann lets Andrew know that her mother will be visiting with them for a good three months".  You have to divide the guests at the shower into two groups and ask them each to pick up one band from both heaps.  Now they have to put together and enact the couples? reaction with their crazy gestures too. The couple has to give scores to everyone and the two people whose scores are highest are the winners.
