Something old, new, borrowed, and blue
The bride's dress needs "something ancient, something latest, something loaned, and a thing in blue color" ? a Victorian verse says so ? for luck. Basing this, you can plan a game. Make a list of items comprising of these and have groups search and fetch these. Divide the list into four ? Something ancient: old tabloids, footwear lying on the curb, cinema counterfoil. Something latest: a packed condom, refreshing blossom, a crunchy bill of 20. Something loaned: a borrowed cassette, a snap and a car company card. Something blue: a napkin blue in color, a blue key holder, and a blue CD cover. Group all into two or more and hand the lists. Provide the participants an hour to get back. For every article collected they get one point. For all objects that are imaginative or rare they get bonus points. Either the host or the bride decides which team won after looking at the things collected by everyone. |
