Wedding Ring Dec-a-Cake

For extra fun at the shower, just tweak old customs. Are you aware of the very old prank of baking the cake with the ring in it? The person holding the shower puts a model ring or an ornament and bakes the cake.  A piece of cake is given to all at the shower and the one who gets it will be the next to walk the aisle.

You can also try the same trick with cupcake instead.  Keep the ring in one of these and have them distributed.  Arrange for sweetmeats and adornments and give them each a cupcake.  Announce a competition with the topic "best looking cupcake in the shower" and the one which is decked up the best will receive a reward.  After deciding on the winner, just when everyone wants to have their cupcakes - tell them that the ring is in one of these cupcakes and whoever gets it will be the one to enter wedlock.

This game can bring lots of laughs, but can also trigger envies, as everyone would probably want to be the next.
